How soon can I get started?
An empty EZ-cycle® Box can be delivered to your location within two business days.
How big is an EZ-cycle® Box?
The Box fits on a standard-sized pallet (40” wide x 48” long) and is 38" high. Simply unfold it, place it on the provided wooden pallet and fill it with materials to be recycled.
How much E-Waste will fit in an EZ-cycle® Box?
One EZ-cycle® Box can hold approximately 40 small form factor computers, approximately 20 15-inch monitors, or 16 17-inch monitors (up to 1,000 lbs).
What can I put in an EZ-cycle® Box?
We will recycle anything associated with information technology and communications. PCs, Printers, Monitors, cables, hubs, routers, phones, fax machines, etc. Please do not place kitchen appliances, printer toner, bottles of liquid, bags of powder, clothing, explosives or items resembling munitions or items that you would not want to have recycled.
How should material be loaded?
Place heavier equipment on bottom of the box. Place lighter equipment – such as cables, cards and peripherals – on top. Seal the top of the EZ-cycle® box with packing tape.
My facility does not have a loading dock. Can you still deliver to me?
Yes, but since we will need to send a delivery truck with a lift-gate, there will be an additional $50 charge per EZ-cycle® Box.
How much does it cost for this service?
One flat fee, nationwide, of $549 covers the cost of the EZ-cycle® Box, delivery of the box, pickup of the box, and environmentally compliant recycling.
My company is not located on the ground floor and will require LifeSpan to come into my facility for an inside pick-up. Can you do this?
Yes. The charge for an inside pick-up is $50 per EZ-cycle® Box. Please make sure that your flooring can accommodate a pallet jack rolling across the floor.
How much time can I take to load my EZ-cycle® Box?
The EZ-cycle® Box can remain at your location for as long as requested by you, but in no event for more than 30 days without written approval from LifeSpan.
How does my EZ-cycle® box get picked up after it’s been loaded?
Contact LifeSpan via email or our toll-free number and we will pick up the filled EZ-cycle® Box within two business days. After we have recycled the equipment, we will send back a Certificate of Recycling in approximately 30 days.
What is a Certificate of Recycling?
The Certificate of Recycling lists the amount of material recycled, the date it was processed, and verification that all material was handled in accordance with applicable local, state and federal regulations.
What if I have more equipment than will fit in to one EZ-cycle® Box?
For small projects, one to three EZ-cycle® Boxes is the most convenient and cost effective. If you have a large quantity of material or have any questions please call our customer service center at 888-720-0900.
